Interactive design

Interactive design can be seen in various interfaces, such as in computers, websites, animations, videos, etc. Also outside of the computer world in our everyday lifestyles, which includes; self serve shopping centers (Woolworths), virtual maps (GPS) and kiosks. With these examples it is easy to say that interactive design is the communication of a device/program and it's user to collectively process information in both input and output operations.

The following examples show great pieces of interactivity, by just a click of a button you can get sucked into discovering the website for hours;

The Nike website was created in genius fashion, as upon entry into the site the user is suddenly overwhelmed with options such as, videos, images, text, pop up tabs etc. It is portrayed as a great interactive web example because of the various styles of interactivity which the user is faced with, creating an interest and seemingly endless option of searching for the perfect product.

Lynx is  a particularly creative web design, as it provides the user with pop up and scrolling boxes, perfect colour tones and size, as well as clear and efficient information. The user is able to identify what is new and old, and distinguishing the difference in the types of Lynx deodorants.

Upon entry into the website my taste-buds were jumping with joy, as ChupaChup hit the sweet spot, pretty amazing for a website to effect physical feelings in the case of flash and animation. The effectiveness of the clarity of information coupled with the imaginative structure allows users to reminisce the past time of when they last had a ChupaChup. By stopping my rambling on the delicious look to the website, the feel and interface is just as or even more effectively executed. With great colours and imagery true to the product, the integrity of the information does not foresee the users eye, depicting a great interactivity of flash and animated brilliance.
